google camera app

The Google Camera app has just been updated on the Play Store and the update will be most appreciated by the early adopters of Android Wear powered smartwatches. Version 2.3 of the app brings remote shutter functionality for Android Wear devices to the table.

In simple words, upon opening the camera app on the phone, a card for remote capture will automatically be added on the Wear device. Clicking the card will open the camera on the phone and all users need to do after that is press the shutter button on the smartwatch and the click will be captured and shows on the screen.

The update also brings an improved panorama mode with a refreshed interface. The alignment circles in the new app are bigger, making it easier to click photos. Previously, version 2.2.024 brought new wide angle and fisheye modes in panorama.
