Facebook launches Groups, a standalone apps for Facebook groups in iOS and Android

While Facebook’s decision to filter out Messenger from its core app hasn’t gone well with the masses, Facebook hardly seems to care. The company has launched a new app in the iOS and Android app stores called Facebook Groups. As the name would suggest, the app allows you to manage all your Facebook groups in one place. The app automatically sorts the groups based on how frequently you interact with them and shows the popular ones on the top.

That’s not all since the app also allows you to post images and updates, create new groups, manage and control your notifications and discover new groups suggested on the basis of the pages you’ve liked.

The good news is that you can manage to monitor your groups through the main Facebook app (for now) and the new app is purely optional. Grab it from the store links below.
