It’s not even been a week since Angry Birds Epic made a grand launch on Android, iOS and Windows Phone and Rovio has already announced the next game in the series. Called Angry Birds Transformers, the game is a tie up with Hasbro’s shape shifting robots series. Previously, Rovio also tied up with Start Wars to deliver Angry Birds: Star Wars 1 and 2.
Angry Birds; Transformers will feature Autobirds and Deceptihogs as birds disguised as robots in disguise. You can also expect to see related merchandise from Hasbro for the same. Rovio hasn’t spilled the beans on what the gameplay would be like. The game could feature the regular slingshot mechanism, or could have some new gameplay elements like the recently launched Epic. We’re also expecting the game to launch on iOS, Windows Phone and Android.
