Google has launched its Google Play Newsstand app in the iOS store, a good ten months after the app made its debut on Play Store. Ten months ago, Google killed the Currents app and Play Magazines app on the Play Store and replaced it with the Play Newsstand app. This also means that the Currents app on the App Store is being axed and users are already being notified to move to Newsstand app instead.

The app is being launched as version 3.0 in the App Store and is rather similar to its Android sibling. It’s available for both iPad and iPhone running iOS 7 and above.
