Microsoft Office for iPad has been one of those apps that have been talked about for a long time now. Well, it seems like Microsoft has finally decided users to give what they want, by bringing Office to the iPad. The company has released three different apps on the App Store for Powerpoint, Excel and Word. Like the iPhone version, the apps are free to download.
The free version can let you open and view documents, Excel sheets and presentations. However, if you need to build a new file or edit an existing one, you’ll require Office 365 subscription. The subscription will allows you to use the service on five iPads (no, it doesn’t add to the five PC/Mac limit). You can either store your files on the iPad or access them through OneDrive or SharePoint. Also the iPad version adds more features to the iPhone version and isn’t just a stretched version of it. There are more formatting options, author blocking and more. The apps are available in the Store. They come as three separate apps for Powerpoint, Excel and Word.
