Windows Phone Store now boasts 300,000 apps

Windows Phone Store seems to be crossing one milestone after the other. After hitting 255,000 apps in June and 270,000 apps more recently, the number has now swelled to over 300,000. That’s close to a thousand apps added everyday since June.

There haven’t been many high profile releases in the last month except for a couple of titles including Uber. Yes most of these apps would be junk apps, but it’s good to see the Store not loosing momentum. There are still many apps that need to see the Windows Phone Store yet, while many have been lying dormant for months and need updates (the likes of Pinterest beta).

Let’s hope the situation only improves further before the end of the year.
