While everyone’s been demanding a larger iPhone from as long as we can remember, the new ‘large screen’ phones also mean that apps that were designed for smaller screens will have to stretch on the bigger ground unless, they’re updated to make use of the extra space. Turns out, Gmail is among the first apps to do just exactly that. The app has been pushed to version 3.1415926 (no that isn’t equal to the value of π, in case you’re wondering) and brings support for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
The update now shows more emails on the larger screens without having to hide other features from the screen. That’s the only change that the app brings so users with older phones shouldn’t find anything new.
